Paddy's open day
Paddy McCartney's beautiful gardens in Greencastle were the venue for a fundraising weekend on May 8th & 9th 2010.
The sun shone and the place was absolutely idyllic for the two day event.
A large number of people came through the gates on both days, to see the gardens, ask questions and attend the many talks and demonstrations. Teas were served and there were plants and tools on sale.
The event was organised to raise funds for the Irish Seedsavers and Self Help Africa. Over €1700 was raised over the course of the two days, and this will be equally divided among the charities.
