Rossinver visit 2006
The first outing of the group was to The Organic Centre in Rossinver in August 2006. The group was then part of the Western Organic Network, and funding was secured to pay for a bus to bring us there.
Head trainer Dolores Keegan welcomed us all and gave us a tour of the centre, followed by a workshop on organic gardening.
At that time, Rossinver was the only place in Ireland where proper advice and training was available, and it became a sort of pilgrimage for all organic growers to get there at least once!
